Triangle Insulin Pump Support (TIPS)

This Month's Topic:

We have another excellent topic slated for February's meeting. Debbie Widener, from the North Carolina Diabetes Prevention and Control Branch, will be talking with us about Insurance and Patients Rights. This topic is relevant to anyone, but we all know that with Diabetes, insurance issues seem to multiply. Come out and learn how to find out what the details are about your insurance coverage, and what your rights are in North Carolina. Debbie is graciously driving over three hours (each way) to speak to us, so the meeting will be starting and ending on time so she can get home safely. We will not go into overtime this month.

Directions: Rex Hospital - 4420 Lake Boone Trail, Raleigh NC

Enter the Rex Campus through the upper Lake Boone Trail Entrance. Take the first right towards the Birthing Center. The building entrance (double glass door) is the second door on your left after you turn (watch for the "Triangle Insulin Pump Support" sign), but you need to take the first right to park. Park in the lot across the little bridge or in the parking garage. If the door is locked, press the button to the left of the doors, and tell the guard that you are there for the Diabetes Group Meeting in the Auditorium.
